Meridian is Idaho’s second-largest city and a major commercial and residential anchor in the Treasure Valley. Named for the Boise Meridian survey line and once a dairy farming hub, the city has transformed into a vibrant suburban center while honoring its agricultural roots through events like the annual Dairy Days celebration. The Village at Meridian serves as a modern town square with dining, shopping, a musical fountain, and community events. Master-planned neighborhoods and an extensive park system, including the 60-acre Kleiner Park with its fishing ponds, bandshell, and paved paths, add to the city’s appeal. Downtown Meridian’s historic core adds local shops, cafes, and breweries, and Roaring Springs water park draws summer visitors. Much of the city is served by the West Ada School District. Interstate 84 and Eagle Road provide seamless access to Boise, the Boise Airport, and surrounding mountains and wilderness areas.
