For South Florida luxury condo buyers, priorities are clear. Space, privacy, newer construction and resort-style amenities are consistent across wish lists but so is value.
That balance is shifting attention to areas beyond the region’s traditionally established luxury markets.
For Brown Harris Stevens Miami agent Robert Posner, real estate and fine art have always shared a common thread: an eye for beauty, potential and the possibilities of a space. A fine artist who paints from his Miami studio when he isn’t working with clients, Robert brings that creative perspective to the way he approaches and presents real estate.

Now, he is bringing a new residence to market at Casamar, a boutique 116-residence oceanfront condominium completed in 2025 in Pompano Beach. We spoke with Robert about the upcoming listing, where he sees luxury and value coming together along the South Florida coast, and how his artistic eye shapes the way he sees a home.
You have a new beachfront listing coming to market soon. Tell us about it.
I’m very excited about this residence at Casamar. It’s a three-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bath home with 2,760 square feet of interior living space in a brand-new boutique building directly on the ocean.

Casamar has only 116 residences, so it feels intimate in a way that many newer oceanfront condominiums don’t. Designed by Arquitectonica with public spaces by Rockwell Group, the building offers direct beach access, sunrise and sunset pools, a fitness center, resident lounges, outdoor entertaining spaces, pickleball and a golf simulator.
Casamar was delivered in August 2025 and is the newest completed condominium building in the area, so you get the amenities and design buyers expect from new luxury development while still having that sense of privacy.

Pompano Beach has historically been a quieter beach town. What’s happening there now, and why do you think more luxury buyers are taking notice?
Pompano Beach is really having a moment. We’re seeing a wave of new development, including projects from global hospitality brands like Ritz-Carlton and Waldorf Astoria, that is transforming what was historically a quieter beach town. Its location between Fort Lauderdale and Boca Raton, beautiful beaches and relative value compared to some of South Florida’s more established luxury markets are bringing a lot more attention to the area.
How does Pompano Beach compare to some of South Florida’s more established luxury markets?
What I find particularly compelling is the opportunity to purchase a residence in a brand new building where every room opens to the ocean at under $1,300 per square foot. In South Florida, that’s quite a value.
You’re directly on the ocean, surrounded by beautiful beaches and an increasingly sophisticated lifestyle, but there is still an opportunity to get more for your money than you would in some of South Florida’s more established luxury markets.
Pompano Beach is also incredibly well positioned between Fort Lauderdale and Boca Raton. Buyers don’t necessarily have to choose between lifestyle, location and space here.
What makes this particular residence at Casamar special?

What makes the 02 line so special is its relationship with the ocean. Every bedroom and the main living area opens directly onto the balcony, so the water isn’t something you experience from just one part of the residence. It is part of the entire home.

Floor-to-ceiling glass brings in tremendous natural light, and the wide balcony runs the length of the residence. There is also a generous flex space that could become a den, media lounge, office or formal dining room depending on how the buyer wants to live.
You’ve described value as one of the listing’s biggest selling points. How does it compare to other new oceanfront condominiums?
The residence is being offered at $3.55 million. When you consider the amount of space, direct oceanfront location and amenities in a brand-new boutique building, I think buyers comparing Casamar with new luxury product elsewhere in South Florida will immediately understand the value.

How does your artistic perspective influence the way you see a home and its potential?
I’m always looking at how a space can be transformed and how someone can make it their own. This residence gives you a wonderful canvas because you have tremendous natural light, generous proportions and the ocean running along essentially the entire home.
We virtually staged the residence to help buyers envision those possibilities, but ultimately it’s an opportunity to create an oceanfront home that reflects their own taste and lifestyle.
