Rachel Glazer Returns To Brown Harris Stevens Along with Her Team

Brown Harris Stevens is excited to announce that top-producing luxury broker Rachel Glazer has rejoined the firm from Compass. Glazer launched her career at Brown Harris Stevens in 2008, and she was consistently recognized as the firm’s top downtown broker and one of New York City’s leading luxury agents.

Glazer’s team closed more than $119 million in sales volume in 2025. Over the course of her career, she has transacted over $1 billion in sales,  and built a reputation for representing high-profile and high-net-worth clients across Manhattan’s most coveted neighborhoods, including the West Village, Upper West Side, Upper East Side, Tribeca, SoHo and Gramercy.

“I’m thrilled to be returning home to Brown Harris Stevens,” said Glazer. “BHS has always stood apart because of its hands-on approach and its genuine dedication to supporting agents.  I missed the boutique culture and collaborative environment that helped shape my career. Bess Freedman and Will Zeckendorf are really involved day-to-day, and I am also excited to focus on new development which is a passion of mine.”

Glazer began her real estate journey after moving to New York to attend the Fashion Institute of Technology and quickly established herself as one of the city’s premier luxury brokers. Throughout her career, she has been recognized by RealTrends among the nation’s top-producing agents and has been frequently quoted in publications including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Curbed, Mansion Global, and The Real Deal. She represents numerous high profile buyers and sellers and has been included in The Hollywood Reporter‘s Top New York Real Estate Agents List several times.

Known for her deep market expertise, discretion, and long-standing client relationships, Glazer has been involved in numerous notable transactions throughout New York City, including sales at 150 Charles Street, The Greenwich Lane, 15 Central Park West, and 18 Gramercy Park South.

Rachel is one of New York’s most respected luxury brokers and a true relationship-driven professional. She built an extraordinary business here, and her return marks an exciting milestone as we continue to attract top talent across the industry,” said CEO Bess Freedman.

Over the past year, Brown Harris Stevens has welcomed agents with career sales totaling more than $24 billion. The firm also announced a marketing partnership with top West Coast independent firm FirstTeam, which will allow for expanded property marketing and referral opportunities.

Welcome Home, Rachel!
