Battery Park City

by

Battery Park City is a planned waterfront neighborhood on Manhattan’s west side, built on landfill along the Hudson River. The area is defined by its modern residential buildings, organized street grid, and integration of public open space. More than 30 acres of parks, plazas, and the Hudson River Esplanade provide continuous waterfront access and recreational areas. The neighborhood is adjacent to key destinations including Brookfield Place and the World Trade Center complex. Residential buildings include rental and condominium properties, many constructed under sustainability guidelines. Retail, dining, and daily services are incorporated throughout. Battery Park City is served by nearby subway lines, bus routes, and ferry service, supporting access to other parts of Manhattan and the region.
