The holiday season is a time for generosity, community, and connection—and at Brown Harris Stevens, the holiday season was spent giving back. Across our offices, agents and teams are coming together to support neighbors in need through coat drives, toy collections, and charitable partnerships. Here’s how BHS is making an impact this season.
New York City
BHS NYC Coat Drive
In partnership with New York Cares, Brown Harris Stevens’ New York City offices are proud to host a holiday Coat Drive benefiting individuals and families in need across the city.
- What: Coat donations (new or gently used)
- Where: All BHS New York City offices
- When: Through December 31
In addition to physical coat donations, monetary contributions are also welcome. A donation of as little as $25 can provide a warm coat to someone in need this winter.

Cabrera Team Launch Event & Toy Drive
Earlier this season, Scottie Cabrera and his team hosted a Team Launch Event & Toy Drive at the Chase Harlem Community Branch, bringing together clients, partners, and community members for an evening of celebration and giving back. The event featured food from Azara Kitchen prepared by Chef Ousmane, music, and raffle prizes, while collecting new, unopened toys to support local families.
All toy donations benefited the East Harlem Family Enrichment Center, helping bring joy to families in the community during the holiday season. Admission to the event was a new, unopened toy, reinforcing the team’s commitment to meaningful community impact alongside their official team launch.
Connecticut
BHS Connecticut Coat Drive
BHS Connecticut has organized a regional Coat Drive in partnership with Junkluggers, making it easy for our community to donate and give back.
- What: Coat donations
- Where: Collection receptacles at all six BHS Connecticut offices
- Who Can Donate: Agents, clients, friends, and family
- When: Donations accepted through January
At the end of January, Junkluggers will collect all donated coats and distribute them to a nonprofit organization selected by BHS Connecticut—ensuring they reach those who need them most.

This season, all Brown Harris Stevens offices participated in a Holiday Toy & Game Drive, helping bring joy to children of all ages.
