This week we spotlight Elise Ehrlich, a consistently top-performing agent in our Union Square Office, ranked in the Top 5% companywide and recognized on Real Trends’ America’s Best Agents list. In her Spotlight interview, she shares why BHS still feels like home, reveals her favorite pet-friendly spot in the city, breaks down where she sees the best value in today’s market, and offers a candid forecast for 2026. She also shares meaningful advice for agents on how agents can effectively market themselves to clients—and much more.
After winning Most Promising Agent “Rookie of the Year almost 15 years ago and starting your real estate career here, you have been one of the greatest flag bearers for the BHS Brand, why do you love it so much?
I love the culture. We have strong, skilled agents and management who truly know how to navigate the buying and selling process. Our honesty, integrity, and professionalism set us apart from other brokerages. I always say we’re the Bergdorf Goodman of real estate companies—the very best!
Before real estate, I was a Chief Marketing Officer, so I deeply appreciate our innovative approach to marketing and the dedicated team available to support us. The culture is collaborative, and I’m grateful to work with an amazing group of people who have become like family to me.
Your greatest passion is your pets, where is the most pet friendly place in NYC in your opinion that people might be surprised about?
Honestly, all of NYC is a haven for pets. I love to shop, and my dog Sammi is welcome just about everywhere.
Where is the best value in New York City right now?
There is excellent value in co-ops at the moment, particularly in Midtown East, Murray Hill, Kips Bay, and Gramercy. I believe there’s a great buying opportunity right now that will only strengthen in the New Year.
We know you are a great cook and love to entertain clients and cook for them often? What is your go to dish and why?
I love to bake, and I’m known for my Chocolate Chip Shortbreads. Visit any of my open houses for samples—I’m always happy to share the recipe!
What is your 2026 forecast for the NYC Real Estate Market?
With the election results in and interest rates coming down, I’m optimistic about 2026. New York is the best city in the world.
Share something few know about you.
I collaborated on a cookbook with celebrity chef Rick Moonen called Seafood Without a Doubt. I spent a summer testing his recipes in my NYC kitchen to ensure they translated well for the home cook. It was such a fun experience!

This is my family! They bring joy into my life daily!!
