800 Park Avenue is a gracious prewar cooperative located on the west side of Park Avenue between 74th and 75th Streets. Designed by Electus D. Litchfield and Rogers and built by Starrett Bros. in 1924, it was incorporated in 1925 as 800 Park Avenue Corporation. The building features 16 units: 12 full-floor apartments, one penthouse, and two maisonettes. This full-service, white-glove building offers a live-in resident manager and basement storage bins for each unit. Pets and washer/dryers are permitted. Originally, the full-floor units had 12-room layouts with private landings and windows on all four sides. A 2% flip tax is paid by the buyer.
