29 East 72nd Street (also 31 East 72nd) is a 15-story elevator building on the Upper East Side between Madison and Park Avenues. Built in 1917 by architects Rouse & Goldstone, it has 35 units, a laundry room, common storage, and a wine cellar. The building offers a full-time doorman, allows pets and in-unit washer/dryers, and has summer renovation rules. Pieds-à-terre and corporate ownership are not permitted.
