FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
[New York City — August 11 2025] — Brown Harris Stevens is pleased to announce that Ben Willig, a respected real estate executive, leadership coach, and entrepreneur, has joined the firm as Managing Director of Agent Growth and Strategy, Downtown.
In his new role, Ben will work closely with BHS leadership and agents to support professional development, mentor talent, and help lead new business and cultural initiatives. He will be based out of our Downtown offices at 100 Fifth Avenue, 451 West Broadway, and 43 North Moore.
With more than 18 years of experience in New York City’s real estate industry, Willig has led top-producing sales teams, coached hundreds of agents, and guided brokerages through pivotal moments of growth and cultural transformation. Prior to founding The Willig Collaborative—a coaching and consulting firm dedicated to scaling leaders, teams, and trust—Willig served as Director of Sales at two leading brokerages, including Elegran, an affiliate of Forbes Global Properties, where he played a key role in advancing the company’s agent development platforms.
Widely recognized for his ability to translate vision into actionable systems and create structures that foster high performance, Willig is also known for mentoring agents to think and operate like entrepreneurs. In his new role at Brown Harris Stevens, he will partner closely with leadership, mentor agents, and support new business and cultural initiatives across the firm.
“This new chapter with BHS allows me to do more of what I love, helping leaders and agents unlock their potential while building something great together,” said Ben. “I’m excited to collaborate with a firm with a rich history of success that shares my belief in integrity, excellence, and long-term vision.”
“We are thrilled to welcome Ben to Brown Harris Stevens,” said Bess Freedman, CEO. “His passion for the industry, combined with his proven ability to mentor agents and drive performance, will be a tremendous asset to our professional development programs and broader strategic efforts.”
Willig is the second senior executive to join the firm in recent weeks. Jared Antin, formerly of Elegran, recently joined Brown Harris Stevens as Executive Director, based out of the firm’s headquarters at 445 Park Avenue.
A graduate of Trinity College, Willig is also an endurance athlete, investor, and dedicated husband and father of two. He brings a distinctive blend of energy, empathy, and execution to his work.
