In this week’s BHS Agent Spotlight, we sat down with top-producing agent Rachel Glazer, who recently returned home to Brown Harris Stevens after building a highly successful career that has generated more than $1.5 billion in sales. Previously one of the top agents companywide at Compass, Rachel has joined our Downtown Office, bringing her market expertise and deep roots in NYC real estate back to BHS. We caught up with Rachel to discuss her decision to return, the state of Manhattan’s luxury market, her favorite Downtown buildings, the advice that helped make her one of the top 1% of agents by sales volume, and more.
Share with us the major reasons why you came back home to Brown Harris Stevens?
I was really only considering Elliman, Serhant and BHS. I wanted to be somewhere I could get the right attention and support. I worried about getting lost in the shuffle at bigger companies.
What is your favorite building Downtown and what is your favorite new development building right now and why?
I love the Greenwich Lane. If I sell enough real estate to afford a 4 bed there, I’m in. It’s got amazing amenities and world class service. Regarding new development, 80 Clarkson is pretty dreamy!
You operate in the luxury price points, what is the current state of the $5M+ market right now in Manhattan?
It’s doing great! Smart money still loves New York.
As a working mom living in New York City, what is your favorite family friendly place to recommend going to in NYC and why?
Too many to choose from! My kids absolutely love the Museum of Ice Cream though.

Work ALL the time. The client is always right and of course: ALWAYS BE CLOSING.
